This is a course on navigating financial troubles, that utilizes “choose your own adventure” scenarios. The learner is given options, and then the course branches in different directions based on their choices. Through choice, the learner can also get back on the positive path from a more negative one.

This was originally a static PowerPoint presentation about the history of the women’s suffrage movement, presented by the League of Women Voters (Illinois).
I added interactive elements to increase engagement, as well as developed a quotes quiz with custom feedback.

Inform and Inspire to Action
This is an abbreviated version of a course I put together for inclusion on the ERA Illinois website (Resources section).
The goal was to educate people about Illinois potential ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, get them “fired-up” about it, and give them specific actions they could take to pressure lawmakers.

Planning document for a retail client, aimed at teaching managers the hiring process, behavioral-based interviewing (reasoning, concepts, and how-to), and legal requirements. The following are included:

Training Needs / ROI Analysis
The topic of this training needs analysis was for managers to properly document employee relations issues, in order to proceed down the corrective action path (if needed), as well as defend against future unemployment claims. The client was a retail chain that also had non-profit community work units.
This project involved analyzing training needs and learning objectives, and then determining an appropriate evaluation method aligned to Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels. Also included is an analysis of ROI / ROE.

The headings and content on the right-hand side are a separate web document, like a web page. In a company, this could be the intranet page for the Compliance department, or a specific document on the site.
Any time the intranet page is updated, the course updates automatically! This can be a huge timesaver, in addition to preventing mistakes and outdated information.
